Item #936 This plate is from the collection of Antique Bird Art Prints are by Rev Morris`s "NATURAL HISTORY OF BRITISH BIRDS" The 1866 edition is considered to have the finest plates, which were printed from wood-blocks by Benjamin Fawcet of Driffield and then retouched with hand coloring. The plate size is 6.25”x 10”. A 4.50” x 7” wood-block printing plate was used. We strive to give as many details on each print including condition, size. All plates are scanned and cropped to give you best detail of plate. Remember these are original antique bird prints not reproduction and are over 139 years old.
