This plate is from the collection of Antique Bird Egg Prints are by Rev Morris`s "NATURAL HISTORY OF EGGS OF BRITISH BIRDS" The 1866 edition is considered to have the finest plates, which were printed from wood-blocks by Benjamin Fawcet of Driffield and then retouched with hand coloring. The plate size is 6”x 10”. Image about 5” x 8” wood-block printing plate was used. We strive to give as many details on each print including condition, size.
