Item #890 by Henry Noel Humphreys and John Obadiah Westwood, published in 1851. Most of the plates are without foxing, near mint condition. All the prints are hand colored prints. The moths and plants makes a wonderful combination, and the interaction of the species make this a truly unique work. Framed and matted they would be a welcome addition to any rooms décor. The plate measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches long. Where ever possible we will try to give original plate text or copy about the plate you purchase.
