One of the most sought after volumes of Wilhelm’s mammoth work on Natural History which extended to some 28 volumes. Gottfried Tobias Wilhelm (1758-1822) was a Bavarian clergyman and naturalist. The work was issued with plain and this edition has all hand colored prints. This is a fine example in the original fine hand colored prints.
