Comments: In "NATURAL HISTORY OF BRITISH BIRDS" The 1866 edition is considered to have some of the finest plates, which were printed from wood-blocks by Benjamin Fawcet of Driffield and then retouched with hand coloring. These are very fine Hand Colored Prints by Rev. Morris. All prints are fine hand colored prints done in collaboration with Fawcet.
