Comments: In "NATURAL HISTORY OF BRITISH BIRDS" The 1855 1st edition is considered to have some of the finest plates, which were printed from wood-blocks by Benjamin Fawcet of Driffield and then retouched with hand coloring. The 1st edition prints show a plate number later addition such as 1866 show no plate number. These are very fine Hand Colored Prints by Rev. Morris. This collection contains stork print, heron print, bittern print, plover print, turnstone prints and other bird prints.
