Comments: In "NATURAL HISTORY OF BRITISH BIRDS" The 1866 edition is considered to have some of the finest plates, which were printed from wood-blocks by Benjamin Fawcet of Driffield and then retouched with hand coloring. This edition prints show no plate number early addition such as 1855 show plate number. These are very fine Hand Colored Prints by Rev. Morris. This collection contains golden oriole, dipper, redwing, wheatear, starling, redbreast, warbler, black cap, thrush and other bird prints. All prints are fine hand colored prints done in collaboration with Fawcet.
