Rare Meyer 1810 Bird Prints
" MARSH AND WATERBIRDS" The 1810 edition is considered to have some of the finest vintage bird prints, which were printed by Freddrich Wilmans of Driffield and then retouched with hand coloring. These are very fine Hand Colored Prints by Meyer.
This collection contains Barnacle Goose , White Pelican, Shelduck, the Razorbill black Coot , black Stork and Crane plus other Bird Prints . All prints are fine hand colored prints.
The plate size is approx. 5”x 9”.These are original Antique Bird Art Prints not reproduction and are over 196 years old.

From Rev Morris`s "NATURAL HISTORY OF BRITISH BIRDS" The 1855 1st edition is considered to have some of the finest plates, which were printed from wood-blocks by Benjamin Fawcet of Driffield and then retouched with hand coloring. The 1st edition prints show a plate number later addition such as 1866 show no plate number. These are very fine Hand Colored Prints by Rev. Morris. We are pleased to offer this Blue Great Heron as part of this collection of Bird Prints from New York Game and Forest Commission Report , published in 1897 and 1899. Most of the Ridgway Bird Prints are without foxing, near mint condition. All the Bird Prints are Chromolithograph colored prints. The bird prints of the different species make this a truly unique work. The Heron print or any of these birds would be great framed and matted they would be a welcome addition to any rooms décor .
