This collection of Antique Botanical Fruit Prints comes from the United States Dept. of Agriculture published in the late 1800s early 1900s.The color prints are Chromolithographs and are very collectable. These are original antique prints not repro’s and were mostly done by D.G. Passmore. Other artist that did them were William Prestele , B. Heiges, E.J Schutt , and AA Newton . Included in the collection are oranges, apples , pears, cherries, plums, grapes and many more. Gorgeous grape prints from “Grapes of New York ” by U. P. Hedrick published in 1908. These plates are from the first edition
of a landmark book that inventories the grape varieties grown at Cornell’s grape reporting station in Geneva New York. The colors are wonderful which adds even more appeal to this wonderful selection of Grape Prints. The size of the prints are 9 x 12 inches.
